Abstract: 

Cheilanthes persica (Bory) Mett. ex Kuhn. (Pteridaceae) is one of the resurrection ferns that fully dries during drought stress and after re-watering will be revived. Fresh material obtained from Kermanshah province, west of Iran (Tagh-e-bostan) and cultured in growth chamber and its developmental stages and LIFE CYCLE were examined. The spore morphology was studied. The spore had tetrahedral tetrad with discontinuous microreticulate ornamentation.

Abstract: 

استفاده از تکنیک های موثر و کارآمد در دنیای پیچیده امروز مورد توجه بسیاری از سازمانها قرار گرفته است. دنیای پیشرفته امروز نیازمند روشی نوین است که بتواند مشکلات پیش رو را به راحتی پشت سر بگذارد. در این مقاله تاثیر فرهنگ اصلاح الگوی مصرف بر چرخه عمر سازمان معرفی می شود که پایه آن تئوری VE و KAIZEN می باشد. در این مقاله استراتژی بقا جای خود را با استراتژی های معمول وابسته به سود و زیان تغییر داده و با نمایش استعاره زیستی و تکامل برای سازمانهای امروزی که عنصر رقابت و بقا مشخصه بارز آنها می باشد، به حیات در عصر پر چالش می پردازد و آمیزش اصلاح الگوی مصرف را با تفکر ناب کایزن و مهندسی ارزش بیان می دارد. مزیت این مقاله آن است که می تواند فرهنگی را در سازمان بنیان نهد که در تمام شرایط اقتصادی و اجتماعی مانند رکودهای اقتصادی از کارایی و اثربخشی زیادی برخوردار باشد. مباحثی که در این مقاله ارایه شده است آغاز تفکر جدید فرهنگ سازی در سازمان است و راه طولانی برای تکامل پیش رو دارد.

Abstract: 

Basic LIFE support (BLS) following by Advanced cardiac LIFE support (ACLS) is intended to rescue the patients with acute circulatory or respiratory failure or both. The most important determinant of short and long-term neurologically intact survival is the interval from the onset of the cardiac or respiratory onset to restoration of effective spontaneous functions of these vital activities.It is commonly accepted that every physician, regardless of specialty, should be able to  perform CPR. It must be also emphasized that CPR, almost invariably, necessitates a rapid interventional follow-care with ACLS procedure.Without well-performed basic LIFE support, advanced cardiac LIFE support is of no remark-: able benefit, BLS and ACLS are processes that must be performed step by step and with respect to the patient's condition.

Abstract: 

High competition among universities and their efforts toward providing the most qualified services for gaining a higher level of international stance have made the need for a comprehensive approach to assess institution’s performance essential. The design and implementation of an assessment system is a vital requirement for an organization to determine the level of goal achievement and is helpful in identifying its LIFE CYCLE. The identification of a university’s LIFE CYCLE could aid management planning in a manner that the organization is always maintained in the stage of development and maturity; otherwise aging period and following that death could be expected. The use of novel measures and approaches for identifying the university’s LIFE CYCLE and stance could be much beneficial in management and direction of higher education centers. Therefore, in this study a fuzzy approach was utilized to identify the LIFE CYCLE of universities. This research was carried out through four aspects of education, research, international and culture facet, and facilities within the years of 1370 to 1387 at Tarbiat Modaress University. Results showed that this university has been at the stage of introduction in 1370 and 1371, and in the meantime of 1372 to 1380 it has been at the stage of growth, and afterwards it has been at the stage of maturity.

Abstract: 

The manufacturing organizations are adopting the environmentally friendlier practices to sustain in the competitive business environment. Automotive industries are adopting the environmental management standards to comply with government norms. LIFE CYCLE Assessment (LCA) enables the evaluation of environmental impacts associated with the processes. LIFE CYCLE Costing (LCC) enables the attainment of economic aspect of sustainability. This article presents an integrated approach of LCA-Activity Based LCC to minimize the environmental impact across the LIFE CYCLE as well as to identify the costs associated with LIFE CYCLE activities. Different scenarios are being analyzed from the sustainability view point, and critical activities are also being identified so as to improve sustainability.

Abstract: 

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: The current literature on tofu production has predominantly focused on exploring the value-added potential of the waste generated during tofu production and conducting impact assessments related to this production. However, a noticeable gap remains in the research concerning the comprehensive examination of LIFE CYCLE costs and eco-efficiency in tofu production and its associated waste. This study aims to assess the environmental and economic impacts of the implementation of recycling alternatives using a LIFE CYCLE assessment and LIFE CYCLE cost approach. The impact of waste recycling on the eco-efficiency of small and medium-sized enterprises in Sugihmanik Village, Grobogan Regency, Indonesia is also examined.METHODS: To achieve this goal, this study employed LIFE CYCLE assessment and LIFE CYCLE cost methodologies to evaluate eco-efficiency. Data were collected through interviews and direct observations. Cradle-to-grave (tofu production) and cradle-to-cradle (tofu production and waste recycling) approaches were compared. Environmental impact was assessed by determining the 12 impact categories. Environmental cost was determined using the eco-cost 2023 method, and environmental and economic impacts were examined with SimaPro software version 9.4.FINDINGS: LIFE CYCLE assessment analysis revealed eutrophication, carbon footprint, and freshwater ecotoxicity to be the categories with the most significant impact for each process. In particular, the eco-cost of the cradle-to-grave approach was 7.03 United States dollars, and that of the cradle-to-cradle approach was 7.90 United States dollars. LIFE CYCLE cost analysis yielded a net value of 1.33 United States dollars for the cradle-to-grave process and 38.16 United States dollars for the cradle-to-cradle process. According to the LIFE CYCLE cost analysis, the recycling scheme increased the overall cost of production. Meanwhile, the eco-efficiency analysis demonstrated an increase in the eco-efficiency of tofu production (cradle-to-grave) and the recycling system (cradle-to-cradle). Waste recycling can increase the eco-efficiency index from 0.18 to 5.CONCLUSION: LIFE CYCLE assessment identified eutrophication, carbon footprint, and ecotoxicity (freshwater) as the three major impact categories. Proper waste management in tofu production offers environmental benefits and significant profits, with the net value of the cradle-to-cradle process at 38.99 US dollars. The eco-efficiency values showed a substantial positive increase, and the waste processing scenarios were found to be sustainable and economically beneficial. These findings suggest new business opportunities through straightforward waste processing and affordable production costs. The scheme also reduces the environmental impact and increases the efficiency and profit of the overall tofu production system.

Abstract: 

This study investigated different concepts for natural-gas-fired power plants with the CO2 capture, and compared them based on the net plant efficiency and emission of CO2. The CYCLEs were based on a six oxy-fuel, one post-combustion and two pre-combustion capture concept. This paper presented the results of an environmental evaluation performed by the application of the LIFE CYCLE Analysis (LCA) method using SimaPro model to compare an Advanced Zero Emission Power Plant (AZEP) concept with a conventional combined CYCLE power plant from 50MW to 400MW. The LCA study was built upon the calculation and the comparison of several impacts (emissions of CO2, CO, NOX, and SOX, consumption of water and primary energy) and several impact categories (climate change, acid rain, ozone depletion and Ecotoxicity). The work was developed entirely using the Eco-indicator99 of the LCA method. The results showed that for all studied impacts, the AZEP power plants have fewer impacts. However, compared to the conventional combined CYCLE power plants, the total primary energy consumption in the AZEP concept is bigger due to the lower electric efficiency.

Abstract: 

Nowadays, the fundamental role of having a purpose for LIFE in physical and mental health has been confirmed. According to victor frankl, presence of a purpose in LIFE gives LIFE a meaning and increases resilience against pains and traumas. The importance of the purpose in LIFE construct reveals the need for a reliable and valid tool to measure it. Crumbaugh and Maholick's purpose in LIFE questionnaire is the first and one of the most applied tools for the assessment of LIFE's purposefulness. The aim of this research is to determine the factor structure of purpose in LIFE questionnaire. The questionnaire was administered on 206 students who were selected through random stratified sampling at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Exploratory factor analysis showed that there are two factors "comprehension" and "purpose" and this finding were confirmed by confirmatory factor analysis. Altogether results of this research showed factor validity of the purpose in LIFE questionnaire with a two factor pattern
